LOCL is a premium lifestyle brand focused on creating the finest surfing apparel in the world. Keeping in line with the founder’s unwavering commitment to product quality, innovation, and experience, High Tide created a visual identity that imbues the sophistication of high-end luxury labels with the passion and purpose unique to global surf culture.
Branding, Print, Web
Inspired by classic surfboard shapes and the minimal paintings of Piet Mondrian, High Tide developed a clean, yet impactful icon to serve as the symbol for the brand. We paired the icon with an elegant custom typeface created specifically for LOCL. To highlight their focus on innovation and experience, we designed an engaging and modern splash page to help communicate the brand’s ethos, and to generate excitement for the company’s upcoming launch.
Warby Parker Gift Card
Warby Parker commissioned High Tide to design a custom gift card package for purchase in store and online. We approached the project as a direct extension of the identity we had originally created for the brand; that is, the design must be clean, simple, and classic.
Nike x Kith
High Tide partnered with Nike and Kith Treats to create a cereal box inspired by shoe packaging. This project was created for the opening of Manhattan’s first Kith Treats cereal and ice cream cafe within the Kith and Nike Pop-Up Store.
